This 200 year old, centrally situated house overlooks the Royal Border Bridge and beyond to the Eildon Hills in Scotland. It has been tastefully decorated throughout and offers spacious bedrooms with flat screen televisions, hairdriers and hospitality trays.
The house is a three minute walk from the Town and Railway Station.
Large en-suite room
The large en-suite room has the view over the bridge and can serve as a twin/double or family. The en suite has a double shower cubicle with all shampoos, and shower creams provided.
Single room
The single bedroom overlooks the garden and has a private bathroom adjoining with a bath and shower.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served downstairs in a room adorned with Berwick pictures. A varied menu is served for breakfast using all local produce, real coffee and home made preserves, with whisky marmalade a speciality. Vegetarians are also catered for.
Berwick History
The owner Lynda is passionate about Berwick history tracing the family tree back to 1723 as Freemen of Berwick, and owns several books about Freemen which are useful when tracing family trees.
The history of the town is very obvious in the pictures and in the many Berwick history books on show, which date back as far as 1817.
An establishment not to be missed for the history lover.
